If there is one thing that all cat lovers can agree on, it is that the world would be a sadder, sorrier place without our feline friends in it. Having a domesticated cat can have its trials and tribulations, including but not limited to scratching up the furniture, yowling at 3 am, and leaving various bodily fluids in places that are inconvenient to clean. They more than make up for it, though, by being so continually cute and funny both in real life and on the internet. Cat memes would not have celebrated them for this many years and in this many different ways if that wasn't true. These critters have had a certain amount of the human population wrapped around their paw for thousands of years, so it isn't like things are likely to change that much in the near future. This is a good thing, as it means we get to keep being entertained by cat memes.
